Innovators
After School Care
Elementary-Aged Children · Grades K–5
The school day ending doesn’t mean the fun stops. At Meadow Montessori, our Innovators program provides after school care in Richmond, TX for elementary students, with a relaxed space to unwind, connect with friends, and finish homework if they choose.
Bus transportation is available from select schools within Lamar CISD and Fort Bend ISD, so getting here is easy. From outdoor games to arts, crafts, and creative play, there’s always something fun happening in the afternoon.
What Your Child Experiences
After a full day of school, your child needs more than a place to wait for pickup, they need room to unwind, connect, and be a kid. Our Innovators program strikes that balance, giving elementary students a relaxed, supervised environment paired with genuine opportunities for play, friendship, and growth.
- Homework Support: Supervised homework time gives students a head start on the evening, with help available when they need it
- Outdoor Play: Daily outdoor time to run, move, and burn off the day's energy
- Indoor Discovery: Games, reading, and hands-on activities that keep curiosity alive after the final bell
- Friendship & Community: A consistent group of peers and staff who feel like an extension of the school day, not a separate program
- Arts & Crafts: Creative, low-pressure activities that let kids explore without academic pressure

Frequently Asked Questions
What schools do you provide transportation from?
We currently provide bus transportation from Adolphus Elementary, Frost Elementary, Pecan Grove Elementary, and Oakland Elementary. Pickup locations may change based on enrollment and community needs, so we recommend contacting us directly to confirm current availability for your child's specific school.
Do you help with homework?
Homework time is available, but it's optional, some children choose to work on it, others don't have any that day or prefer to finish at home. Staff are on hand to help answer questions, but do not offer formal tutoring.
What are your hours, and do you offer care on school holidays?
Our Innovators program runs from school dismissal until 6:00 p.m. on regular school days, including early dismissal days when we pick up students directly from school. We also offer a "School's Out" program for full holidays and school breaks throughout the LCISD and FBISD calendars, for an additional fee. Availability can vary, so we recommend confirming with us directly for any specific date you're planning around.
What does a typical afternoon look like?
Students arrive by bus or drop-off and settle in with a snack. From there, they have optional homework time, outdoor play, and indoor activities like reading, games, arts and crafts, and active favorites. The goal is a relaxed, enjoyable afternoon.
How do I enroll my child in the Innovators program?
The first step is scheduling a tour so you can see the space and meet our staff. If your child needs bus transportation, we'll also confirm pickup from their school. From there, we'll walk you through enrollment forms before their first day.
